Awards Policy

Awards at the 2009 Golden Bullet Championship will be cash awards, given out on a Division by Division basis. The cash amount for awards in each Division will be based on the number of competitors in the Division. The more competitors in the Division the higher the cash awards in that Division.

For each Division we will be giving out awards to the Section Champion, Division Winner, and the top 3 finishers in each class (M, A, B, C, D, U), except the GM class. The GM class is only eligible for the Section Champion, Division Winner, and Category awards.

In an effort to give out awards to as many people as possible, if the Section Champion and Division Winner is the same person, the top competitor in the Division will be given the Section Champion Award and the next highest competitor will be given the Division Winner award. Additionally these two competitors will not be considered for top competitors in their respective classes.

In addition to the policies described above, USPSA has some rules that must be followed for Level III approved matches. These are outlined in Appendix A2 in the lates USPSA rulebook. The following is a summary of the rules that apply to Level III matches:

1. There must be a minimum of 10 competitors in a Division before it can be recognized.

2. There must be a minimum of 10 competitors in a Class before it can be recognized.

3. There must be a minimum of 5 competitors per Division Category before it can be recognized.
